A Spiritual Death
In the beginning God created the world and all that dwells within it; and God took the dusk of the earth and created man and breathe life into him, His spirit, and man became a living soul.
So, now when we refuse to assembly together in worship, refuse to study God word and learn of His perfect will for our lives; when we fail to acknowledge God in spirit and in truth, to accept Jesus Christ, God only Son, as our Savior, then we began to feel distant, disconnected, lost, separated from God.
We become spiritual dead; we have died spiritual because of the lack of doing the will of God, the lack of being obedient to His will. King Saul disobeyed the will of God when God told him to go and destroy Amalek and destroy everything, to spare nothing. And now because of his disobedient, an evil spirit from the Lord troubled him; Saul was going through a spiritual death being disconnected from the will of God.
So, when we are disconnected from God, when we refuse to do the will of the Lord, when we disobey His word; we become spiritual dead. That’s why they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. We must stir up the spirit that is within us; seek to do the will of the Father, to draw closer to God and He will draw closer to us, to be followers of Christ.
To live according to God purpose and holy will, in all things be fervent in prayer, instant in season and out, ready to preach and teach God word at all time. Love one another, help one another and ready to forgive man as we want God to forgive us, be joyful in all things and thankful to God in prayer and thanksgiving with supplication, making our request made know unto God the author and finisher of our faith. Be bless and much love to all of God children.
